When I go into meetings with my employees I try, to take this passion with me into the board room. You see, passion for business and the desire to foster innovation within your organization can only be achieved through the empowerment of your employees. When I am in meetings, I make sure that those surrounding me understand that their thoughts and opinions are absolutely crucial to the forward progress of our company. Their feelings on the direction of our organization are directly related to the morale of the company as a whole, and this is directly related to the level of production that is accomplished. Passion runs through each and every individual, leaders who possess a positive passion for business can bring the same energy out of their employees through empowering them. This is passion.
Today, value has become symbolic. The pioneers would not have cared if bartering for the neighbours’ milk made them sexy or increased their chances of becoming a celebrity….they just wanted to drink the milk. Now, advertisers use psychological methods to make customers think they are in fact “purchasing” intangible and subjective qualities such as sex appeal, power, status.
@ replies… now you can tag your friends by adding their name to a status update or send them a quick shout out to thank them for posting something that you are going to share! Give it a try, it is a great new feature. Write @Marcia Johnson (or anyone) to see what I mean… then not only will the link show up on your wall… but it will show up on theirs as well.
A valid object for mindfulness must be something that actually exists, and is directly perceived in the present moment. It isn’t something that used to exist, or will exist in the future. As Ven. Sujìva points out, it isn’t imaginary, conceptual, or remembered. Nor is it a name or a word.
Jonathan Bricklin, an internationally acclaimed James scholar, is the author of The Illusion of Will, Self and Time: William James’s Reluctant Guide to Enlightenment (SUNY Press, 2015), and the editor of Sciousness (James’s term for consciousness without consciousness of self,).
At starting stage of introspection you face many thoughts, you cannot concentrate. Never mind, try to forget all worldly thoughts and come back gently to the concentration object. Do not wrestle with thoughts, come back gently. Don’t strain your eyes and mind.
I was talking with someone the other day who was telling me how upset he was because he had to wake up 10 minutes earlier in the morning. He told me that the line at the coffee shop (Tim Hortons) was getting longer and longer and he couldn’t afford to arrive late at work anymore…
He also includes inspirational stories and real-life case studies to help you pursue the unfoldment of your own spiritual abilities safely and wisely. You will learn that mediumship is not just about connecting to the Spirit World. It’s just as much about helping and healing the living. There are spiritual bridges that can be built to connect to your loved ones who have passed, as well as the most important bridge of all: the bridge to your own spirit.
What I didn’t know was that being an Entrepreneur and small business owner can be tough work! But I was going to find out about that very quickly! So here is the quick version…. Started with a bit of money, got investors, had a vision, had a solid system, build the company with and then learned how to have great employees and really build a team environment. We were the first in the areas we chose and filled a need, took action and advertised like crazy and tried new things. We showed the customer we cared, valued our staff and investors, and had TONS of ups and downs until we got it right! It took many years to build it up to what it was and the biggest hurdle and success was finally selling it and letting it all go.
In a way, this strikes me as a variety of magical thinking, where instead of you doing something, instead of DECIDING to act with a certain outcome in mind, you’re waiting for yourself to somehow automatically act with purpose, but without making a personal decision to do so, or engaging some sort of agentic impulse.
Amy Cunningham was a magazine writer until 2007 when her elderly father’s memorial service got her interested in helping folks plan more meaningful end-of-life services. Her new funeral firm in Brooklyn is called Fitting Tribute Funeral Services (FittingTributeFunerals.com)and when she’s not directing funerals, she writes a funeral planning blog called TheInspiredFuneral.com. She believes that a good funeral can send everyone in attendance out the door with an altered view of what life’s all about, and the beginnings of a plan for moving forward.
Don Jose Ruiz was chosen by his father to carry on the centuries-old family legacy of healing and teaching. For the past 7 years, he has lectured widely across the United States and at sacred sites around the world.
Personally, I read a very simple book that shared this sentiment with me. It stated that no matter what someone said to me, no matter what someone did, no matter what happened on the outside – it did not have to affect my peace. This was a big statement for me to hear since at the time I was experiencing the opposite. I thought that everything was happening to me. I felt that I had no control over my own experience. And worst of all, I had lost the hope that there was more in life.
Once you start loving your body by recognizing what you do like about it and dressing to fit your body type, you’ll gain a whole new confidence like you’ve never felt before and other people will take notice too. You may notice others reacting somewhat differently toward you as they respond to your new confidence. Heck, you might even get a raise!

Answer: What a rich question… and one that could take a lifetime to answer!!! Perhaps the greatest of lessons is that truly, love always wins!!! This traumatic experience taught me the importance of being conscious of my thoughts, words and actions. I’ve learned that indeed you do need to be what it is you want to see in this life. If you want to see love, you have to be love, if you want to see compassion, you have to be compassion… if you want to see inspiration, you have to be inspired!!!
“Rupa” means matter. Practically speaking, rupa refers to bare sense-impressions: color, sound, taste, scent and tactile sensation (tactile sensation is experienced as temperature, pressure, and motion). Although we don’t usually think of them this way, in Buddhist philosophy sense-impressions are considered a type of matter. They are, in fact, our only direct experience of the latter.
Numerology can be applied to daily life to increase the flow of abundance. For example: try placing a small piece of paper with a number “8” in your wallet along with a large number “8” on or near the place where you keep your monthly bills. Utilizing the number 8 in this way places the Universe on notice that you are ready for an income boost. It is also advised to get your own numerology chart done, or at the very least get acquainted with your life path number and the challenge numbers to your life path. Then, take a look at the numbers in your life, such as your home address number, that is all the digits added together. It could be that you are living in a home that is a challenge to you and if you work out of your home, this could be directly impacting your abundance in the negative. It is also important to note that each letter of the alphabet represents a number (in the Pythagorean system, among others) and therefore any business name has its own numerology. If you work for a place or own your own business that equals a challenge to you this could also be a constant disappointment in the money department.
If you don’t have anything that’s very valuable, you have to do something about that. If more education would make you more valuable, get more education. If more skills would do it, get more skills. Or, create a product. Create a service. Look around and see if you can figure out something people want that you can provide, or can find a better way to provide. Be of value in some way. To the degree you are of value to others, you can make money.
A daily protein smoothie with hemp, rice, pea or whey powder along with a teaspoon of spirulina (algae) will help your child meet protein needs and provide lasting energy for sports. Be cautious of protein bars as the protein used in the majority of bars is generally highly processed and usually contains sugar as the first or second ingredient!
Whilst for those who desire a non-guided experience and are looking for certain peaceful scenes and gentle music or nature sounds to accompany them there is a wide, and still building, selection of 10 minute 4k videos available via: https://surginglife.com/wellness/meditation/videos/10-minute/
From a design standpoint, the application scores pretty well. It has a clean user interface that is easy to navigate. The careful scripting of the app makes for a good user experience. It is very clean, though perhaps a little too much so. The addition of calming sensory input – such as music and/or imagery – would be, in my opinion, a big improvement. In terms of development, the app performs well and did not hiccup or crash.
Reiki is a Japanese style of energy healing and is normally taught in three parts with atunements for each and Shamanism is ancient and dates back to the Mayans and found throughout the world in Native American Indians, Aboriginals and many others. Our ancestors did have a clue and it would be to our advantage to explore their ways. We can learn from our elders if we put our egos aside.
So, what is it to be Spiritual? In my understanding it is to be an explorer who challenges the boundaries set by the ego; the left brain. Being Spiritual is to slowly break down the resistance of the left brain and to become more free and less fearful. It is to constantly seek to stretch oneself beyond one’s own programmed limitations. And it is to be totally compassionate toward and supportive of others as they seek to do the same.
By using this mantra, the practitioner experiences the thought of that sound and starts minimizing that thought to experience the finer states of that thought – until the source of thought is fathomed and the conscious mind reaches the transcendental area of being.”
When observing nama and rupa you shouldn’t think in terms of a self or describe your experience with words. When observing the body, for instance, you wouldn’t think, “I feel a cramp in my leg.” You would only be aware of the feeling. As a training technique a beginner can label the sensation “pain,” or “feeling,” but without regarding it in terms of “I” or mentally linking it to a body part.

Do you desire to be exceptionally healthy? Do you desire to have the energy needed to play out an active day? Do you desire to be a competitive athlete? Do you desire to be disease free? Do you desire to travel? Do you desire to play with your grandchildren? Pretend you are sitting in a vehicle…there must be a destination otherwise you will go nowhere (desire), and without gas (nutrition), the vehicle will not go anywhere.
At one of the classes that I attend, I remember my teacher speaking to my peers and I about how the lure of yoga has uncovered an odd pattern in newcomers to the practice, especially those coming from highly stressful environments: people have an increasingly (and alarmingly) hard time sitting (or standing, for that matter) still. Our North American work ethic has immersed us in a high speed, ever-elusive pursuit for success, one that inexorably leaves us vibrating with the reverberating echoes of the day’s battles. As yoga has begun to be marketed as a sensible salve to our harrowing daily goings-on, people from business backgrounds have found themselves in the unfamiliar environs of a yoga class. The constraining suits replaced by comfortable threads, the faxes and Blackberries replaced by spongy mats and supporting blocks, these people have found themselves destabilized by the lack of white noise, or more importantly, by the presence of undiluted silence. The process of stripping away society’s conditioning has often proved to be too great a feat for some, resulting in the identification of yoga as freaky”, “too quiet”, or most laughably, “too easy”. There now exists a movement of millions attempting to relate to life’s most basic principles, and in that same effort to relate comes the realization that we rarely end up where we originally envisioned ourselves…and so the quest begins…to come back to ourselves…and to our selves.
The beautiful thing with meditation is that it is not about reading about other people’s experiences. It is not about trying to figure something out. It is simply about experiencing life fully right now, experiencing the peace and silence within. All of the peace, joy and happiness that you’ve ever been searching for are already within you. None of it is found on the outside. Meditation can be a simple, effortless way to experience the saying “nothing on the outside can affect my peace.”
So now, Kabat-Zinn travels the globe. He is fascinated by teaching in China where he has detected a rebirth in the country’s contemplative traditions as a way of tackling its challenges. He leads intensive five-day retreats in the US, runs courses in Austria, Korea and Japan. Lately, he has been talking with David Simas, a former White House adviser and now chief executive of the Obama Foundation, who was inspired to take up mindfulness meditation by Kabat-Zinn. “I feel it’s my responsibility, since to a large degree people blame me for starting this whole ball rolling to participate in whatever way I can,” he says. “This is, in some sense, the fruition of that 10-second vision I had in 1979.”
Mindfulness meditation is mental cultivation or mind training. Through which, your mind, indeed your whole life, goes through spiritual growth — your mind becomes clear so that better self-understanding can arise. You become more wholesomely aware of yourself, of others, of your environment and ultimately of true reality itself.
For over twenty years now I’ve gratefully used this gift with pride, spontaneously assisting individuals with the expression of their heartache, so when I opted to write this column, I believed myself to be Spiritually mature, well poised to provide streams of wisdom to the masses and confident in my ability to ride any Spiritual wave with balanced energy fit for stormy seas.

A similar rule applies here: Sit as long as you can, but don’t overdo. Most beginners start with twenty or thirty minutes. Initially, it’s difficult to sit longer than that with profit. The posture is unfamiliar to Westerners, and it takes a bit of time for the body to adjust. The mental skills are equally unfamiliar, and that adjustment takes time, too.
Pranayama meditation is more of a breathing practice than an actual meditation. But, it can help to promote feelings of relaxation, reduced stress, and healing. We like to think of it as a great breathing meditation.
Looking to solve a puzzle, do well on a test or just want to remember your neighbour’s name? What you eat will help you fuel and take care of your brain. Certain foods and their nutrients are vital to your brain health. Walnuts are one. Your daily intake must contain “healthy” sources of protein, carbohydrates and fats. Omega 3 fatty acids (specifically DHA, docosahexaenoic acid and more recently DPA, docosapentaenoic acid) are the most common healthy fats referenced today. Such foods are walnuts, flaxseeds, and hempseeds. I do not recommend fish oils and canola oil (all processed vegetable oils)…read my previous article on Omega 3s. Consume other such foods as fruits, and green veggies.
I’m wondering? How are you going to make it through the Holiday Glaze? Might you wake up on New Year’s Day fatter than you are now? Seriously, folks! You might want to think about it now and actually ‘create’ these next few months so that they support you and your health and weight management goals. If you don’t take control now, the “Devil’s Food” will take you over!
Then, out of her despair, Sally looked up and saw high up on a closet shelf; way back in the corner were some beautifully decorated boxes. Pushing the now empty boxes away from her, Sally got up and brought down one of these colourful boxes. When she opened it the emotion of feeling loved flowed over and through her like a soft summer’s breeze. She closed her eyes then took a long, slow, deep breath in and breathed in this feeling. As she did, Sally realized that for a long time she had chosen to see only the dark and ugly boxes and by doing so had forgotten all about her beautiful memory boxes; the ones filled with love, hope and joy.
Third eye meditation is said to open the “third eye”, the area just above and between your eyebrows. Opening this point is said to bring about increased intuition and perception beyond ordinary sight. We like to think it’s something like William James described with this quote: is said to open the “third eye”, the area just above and between your eyebrows. Opening this point is said to bring about increased intuition and perception beyond ordinary sight. We like to think it’s something like William James described with this quote:
As you repeat the mantra, it creates a mental vibration that allows the mind to experience deeper levels of awareness. As you meditate, the mantra becomes increasingly abstract and indistinct, until you’re finally led into the field of pure consciousness from which the vibration arose.

When we make choices to stay in these situations, we often set out on a path of self betrayal, and it’s not until we recognize that we have our own self by staying in these dysfunctional situations that we realize the importance of honouring thy self. When we truly begin to honour ones self in every aspect of our lives, goodness begins to flow from that for the self and for others.
Meditation may be for a religious purpose, but even before being brought to the West it was used in secular contexts. Beginning with the theosophists, meditation has been employed in the West by a number of religious and spiritual movements, such as yoga, New Age and the New Thought movement.
If you are looking to begin meditating but don’t know where to start , then it’s important to not let anything stand in your way from doing it. Don’t let a few dollars stop you from learning the simple secrets that could change your life while also enriching it. Can you put a price on your mental & physical wellbeing?
It’s unfortunate that this film suffers from such an inherent consistency problem, but here’s my recommendation for how to view it: Savor Julia’s story for every delicious morsel it serves up. And while viewing Julie’s story, remember that leftovers have their place, too.
Online Personal Fitness Coaching is very similar to life coaching but specializing in the area of fitness. Many people do not realize that the reason they failed at becoming fit and losing weight is what is happening between their ears! Maybe you have failed at becoming fit and healthy. Maybe you have tried several different times and not succeeded. You know why? Well there are many reasons, but there are several key ones:
Looking back on last year I had much success and of course some failure. I have learned success can only be achieved once you experience failure. Life lessons are what establish our opportunity to learn, grow triumph and thrive. Now I visualize what and where I want to be in 2010 and beyond. Instead of making resolutions, I make what’s called my MIT list for each day of the week. These are the things that I value and hold as most important in creating and sustaining success in all areas of my life. We all have the following areas to consider; Career/Business, Money, Family, Relationships, Health and Physical Environment. This involves executing a plan and requires measuring your successes and failures on a daily basis. I can look at my list at the end of each day and cross off what got done to work towards my desired outcome. This creates a sense of fulfillment and begins the process of empowerment. It keeps you in check and helps you to remain focused on your purpose. It does require being committed to your outcome and never giving up.
Jon Kabat-Zinn: Body Scan: This is a 30-minute guided meditation from Jon Kabat-Zinn which seems to be mostly aimed at beginners. More experienced meditators might find Kabat-Zinn’s comments to be distracting, but beginners should find it useful as a way to become familiar with mindfulness meditation.
3) Focus on What You Appreciate About the Holidays. Consciously choose to focus on the things that you appreciate about the holiday season the most. Tell the truth about this to yourself and to those around you. If at all don’t participate in work or family gatherings out of obligation. But, regardless of where you are, what you do, or whom you are with – make a commitment to appreciate what’s happening, the people around you, and the many blessings of this season and in your life right now.
Albert Einstein once observed that “Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind.” Today’s growing legions of quantum activists, like Amit Goswami, are building upon Einstein’s insight to show us the veracity of that wisdom in the hope that ultimately we may create better lives – and a better world – for us all.
I reccomend long stillness after you kundalini meditation. The kundalini meditation is great for busting through any blocks and getting you into a state of stillness. use that practice as a warmup for your stillness meditation.
Fortunately, there is a way we (consumers, farmers & societies), can win back control of our food security. This way is intimately tied to our re-connection with the bigger picture of nature to create sustainable food production.
I make my clients write their dollar goals in the beginning of the year, if that happens to be their issue. I tell them not to tell me the exact figures and we just follow up during the year where they are with respect to their goal. One client obtained the dollar amount within 6 months (double what she made the year before in one half the time). She got clients even when she went on vacations!
Letting go of the past is a huge step forward but we are not through yet. Holding onto yesterday often goes hand in hand with worrying about the future as we huddle where we “know” what will happen next. This worry will stifle our desires and growth from manifesting in our lives. Precious “now” time is spent worrying about things we have no control over. Is this negative energy what we want to manifest in our future? Remember we become what we think! Allowing negative energies today to be part of our being will develop into the worry of the future and once there, not having lived our dreams will become the regrets and remorse of yesterday.
The theoretical explanation for the effects of meditation and relaxation techniques is that the release of catecholamines and other stress hormones are reduced and parasympathetic activity is increased.
On The Full Moon of November 2nd you will run into mixed signals. Feelings will be strong but your actions will run into interference. The New Moon of November 16th will be a difficult one for most Taureans. Lie low! Adrenaline is high and so are frustrations. Don’t complain! Be courteous.
A temple… as I sat. The arms I knew to be just that… of sage. The hot red golden yellow glow… swept its way across the pale white green leaf. Its subtle sweet aroma arose. Fulfilling its purpose, this place, of reverence and peace. Where its body danced in grace… as it moved at will, upon the currents its tail… a trace of where it once had been. Thus, the calming and clearing of space… gifts of the sage.
What is a blockade, pertaining to manifestation? It is anything you add to the equation that is not conducive to moving forward. If you stress because you think you are somehow ineligible or cannot afford your manifestations, you are blocking them. If you become impatient and decide the manifestations are not real or take far too much time, you have blocked them. If you allow yourself to be caught up in fear, negativity, anger or jealously pertaining to your desires and goals you create a blockade. But we are human, and these feelings are normal. How do we stop ourselves once and for all from impeding on our own progress? We forget.
Allyson Grey is an artist who has, for 30 years, sought to capture transcendental states and mystical unity in her painting, which include tens of thousands of labor intensively painted spectral squares. The Greys founded CoSM, Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, in 1996 in Wappingers Falls, NY.
“Oz himself is the great Wizard… more powerful than all the rest of us together.” Once the green curtain is pulled aside, and we can see the machinations of the ‘Wizard’ – we discover that all that we thought we wanted, we already the answers are within. All we thought was real – just an illusion. The magic of the message in the Wizard of Oz is that we have the power to re-wire our brains; we have power over the unconscious. The Wizard shows the characters that they can believe whatever they want and it will become real. “Oz left to himself, smiled to think of his success in giving the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman and the Lion exactly what they thought they wanted.”
Now doesn’t that feel just right in your heart? Say it out loud “Collaboration NOT Competition” working together with humanity rather than working against each other. Now this sounds like exactly the way to do things. It sounds right, it feels right and it’s an old world concept that has been taught to us by the world’s greatest teachers: Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu, Dalai Lama and so many more. We call ourselves Christian, Buddhist, Muslim or Jewish but are we really truly living by or following what we have identified ourselves with or do we just utter these words so that those around us will indentify us with these religions and therefore deem us beacons of love and peace?
Some of us are sparked by the adventure in things, some of us the monetary gain and some us look for the opportunity to use whatever comes our way to serve for greater good. But what we must remember in all decisions is that we stay true to our authentic self and not be guided by outer world but be guided by inner world; or in other words don’t be guided by others, media, community or world perceptions or beliefs but be guided by intuition which is your inherent gift given to you by the source of all creation to guide you through life keeping you parallel with the authentic you.
Davidson adds that research on neuroplasticity gives neuroscientists a framework for tracking meditation research. And CIHM is beginning to see that “even short amounts of practice,” like 30 minutes of meditation per day, “can induce measurable changes in the brain” that can be tracked on a brain scanner.
Showing photo slides of various areas in the world that have become popular eco-tourism sites, Eagles said, “Eco-tourism is becoming a global phenomenon,” but admitted he is skeptical of the impacts that mega events have on smaller communities, as they tend to draw a huge high and then drop off.
We are all guilty of making emotional decisions when it comes to dogs, but the reality of the situation is that you must be completely honest with yourself when it comes to choosing a canine companion. This dog may be with you for up to 14 years, and if you choose badly it will be the dog that suffers.

My advice is meant to help those that I interact with live inspired lives…and I feel very strongly about this exhibit from an unbiased standpoint. If done properly, you will come out of that inner sanctum of artwork with an entirely different thought process if you let yourself experience the magnitude of the multiplicity of thoughts and feelings, viewpoints and styles, mediums and textures that went into that work and the reasoning behind them.

It’s time to take responsibility for the TRUTH. It’s time to start realizing our GOD potential and utilize our UNIQUE talents and CONNECTION to COLLABORATE TOGETHER heal ourselves, HEAL our EARTH and to use “The Power of Togetherness” to once again create PEACE (HEAVEN) ON EARTH!

So consider this as a start for 2010: turn your attention to your heart; connect with the feeling of love, and share your love and gratitude. Are there people in your life who evoke a feeling of love? Did you experience blessings in 2009 that evoke a feeling of gratitude? Focus on these people or these blessings. Let them evoke the feelings of love and gratitude, and let these feelings pour out from you and gently guide your life.

There’s something truly magical that happens during the Olympics. While many of us are enjoying rooting for our country and we’ve seen some remarkable performances in Vancouver from people like Lindsey Vonn, Shaun White, Evan Lysacek, Bode Miller, and many others – the real magic of the Olympics is way bigger than any individual athlete or even any country. And, if we look deeper, there are so many aspects of the Olympics that can teach us, remind us, and inspire us on our own personal journey.
That’s not just my opinion—there’s serious science to back me up here. Studies have proven that meditation is the secret sauce to being healthier, happier, and way more effective. It physically rewires your brain to make you smarter, more focused and productive, and more positive. It reduces anxiety, stress, panic attacks, anger, depression, overeating, and pain. It improves your memory, helps you make better and faster decisions, increases compassion, and gives you a serious edge on handling the challenges life throws your way. It helps clear away the clutter and chaos in your brain that lead to the clutter and chaos in your life, so everything just flows better.
This is the inspiration for me, behind “Inspired Business”. It is about having that passion for your business, and your life and being able or at least willing to be in balance with both. It is about understanding that while we are in business to profit and excel in life, that real true pleasure and fulfilment come from the balance with spirit, nature, and the ones we love including ourselves.
I have strived to include a “Is it for me?” section, with general observations about each practice. Keep in mind these are tentative; they are there to give some direction, and potentially any person could feel attracted to any of these modalities.
So as you listed these thoughts, words, actions that don’t serve you, start to write down thoughts, words and actions that do serve you. Thoughts, words and actions that demonstrate your greatness. Thoughts, words and actions that are worthy of the new and divine you.
You can also search for Transcendental Meditation houses all over the country or look for an MBSR class in your area. This is the gold-standard in mindfulness meditation teaching and is typically an eight-week course. When you learn meditation in a class, you have an instructor to help guide you along the way. You can also benefit from hearing the group’s questions asked out loud.
Today, most people who know me would have a tough time believing I could ever do that. Looking back I can hardly believe that I did that stuff, because it is not inside me at all to act like that. So what was the cause of my chaos, depression and bi-polarness?
Since that change in my mindset, I have parked so close everyday that my friends are starting to notice and think I am “lucky.” I don’t think it is “luck” and more of my mindset towards the parking issue. Luck favours the prepared mind. My mind is prepared to be programmed for the life that I want including good parking spots.
5) Discern Intent – With issues that mean the most to us or cut right the core of our most sacredly beliefs, we often have a hard time considering anything else than what we already believe to be true. In this process, we often vilify those who don’t agree with us. “Those people” – the ones who think differently than we do -become “them,” in a negative way. When we look for and find the positive intention of others, even if we don’t see things the way they do, we can get to the core of what’s really true, not just what our ego wants to argue about.
According to Ayurveda, you are unique, and your dietary needs are unique too, determined by your body constitution, age, the season, your environment and your needs for balance at any given time. I feel everything in our life happens for a reason. I now speak about pet therapy to others and use my dogs to help many children cope.

Author and teacher, Byron Katie, says, “The definition of insanity is thinking that you need something you don’t have. The mere fact that you exist right now without that which you think you need is proof that you don’t need it.”

As is the nature of our Divine universe, I was provided with several enlightened insights because of Deborah’s note. Through her I received the clarity to recognize how easily we can be fooled by our humanness. I’ve been reminded that Spiritual growth has everything to do with our experiences, and what we allow ourselves to feel from them; that Spiritual maturity is shaped by wisdom, not pride and that messages channelled from Spirit will never pull you under. Most importantly is that this gift of channelling is not exclusive. Through Deborah I received exactly what I needed, because we are ALL one with the Divine and we are all share equally in these gifts.
Also, consider that sugar in the blood will trigger insulin production. The insulin comes into the blood and moves the excess sugar into the cells. What if the cells are full of glucose? At some point, the cells signal no more please. This is what they call insulin resistance. Excess sugar will convert into body fat.
I just wanted to add something to this post that might be helpful to Charles. What scares you the most in your daily financial life? For me, it was my large tax bill, and the fact that I hadn’t talked with the IRS yet. I just kept letting it eat at me, which made me not want to do anything about it even more. Imagine yourself fixing whatever financial problem bothers you most, and deal with that first. You will, and it will snowball. Dismantle your fears, one by one.
We asked her how she felt about our message to the world, about conscious parenting. The reason for us asking her this question was that we are posting many pictures in order to activate feelings in our readers. The pictures are warm, and the intention is to create a longing for those with children, but who has forgotten their natural instincts.
So what is a style statement you might ask? As defined by the authors; style statement integrates the various aspects of your being in an effective balance. It consists of two words: the first word is your fundamental nature; 80% of who you are. The second word is your creative edge, your distinction, the 20% of yourself that makes all the difference. Your foundation word represents your being and your creative edge is how you express and distinguish your being.
Your ancestors are coming through to you. You tend to call on your ancestors more than your guides which of course is fine but you could be guided even further by asking your guides to help you as well.
The easiest and best way to begin to glimpse this part of yourself, to connect with your soul or your “self”, is through the process of meditation. Someone once said that you cannot fix a problem from the same level that you created it. You cannot fix your mind from the level of the mind. You need to step outside of your mind so that you can clearly see what is happening.
The brick wall you see in front of you is nothing more than the image of a limiting belief being projected from the depths of your own mind.
This is when a sound nutritional plan is a to ensure you are fuelling your body for the optimal results. Your body needs fuel to perform and using the right type of fuel pre and post workout will help your body to perform better which in turn will enhance your results.
Part of my resistance to business planning was because I really loved working with the spiritual laws, and I didn’t want to get caught up in some of the “negative” energies around business and money I witnessed in the material realm. And, of course, I associated business planning with these energies!
Line a pie dish with your favourite pastry recipe (try adding 1/4 tsp cinnamon to the flour). Keep aside any leftovers or trimmings. Or buy a ready-made pastry shell from the supermarket (read the ingredients, some contain lard)
However, I did give you five stars (truthfully more like 4.5 stars), because you have the most amazing content with SO MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF CONTENT, and best of all, ITS FREE❣️. I have read about the things you have planned for 2018 to help raise money for your app, and as long as it doesn’t cut any of the free content down that you have now, I think it will be great. Just please correct those two issues I mentioned, and please tell me where I can find all my bookmarks?
It is not wrong to plan intelligently for the future, of course. But there’s a difference between behaving responsibly—doing what needs to be done—and needlessly suffering over things that may never happen or are already gone; things which, in any case, we cannot control. Suffering about past or future events can only arise when we fail to stay in the present. So don’t fast-forward or rewind.

Our mind learns fastest with what is called “massed practice”. Repeating the same affirmations five times in a row is “massed practice”. The problem is that it also produces quick forgetting. “Spaced practice”, the process of repeating all the affirmations three or more times during the day, produces slow learning and slow forgetting. Combining both “massed and spaced” practice gives us the best of both: fast learning and slow forgetting.
With all these types of meditation in Yoga, you are likely to find one that you like. If you are a musician, perhaps nada yoga is something that will attract you. If you are a devotional person, kriya yoga is a good option. Kundalini and Chakra meditation should only be attempted with a teacher.
One reason the mind easily wanders off on tangents is that we tend to believe wholeheartedly in the content of our thoughts, and so whenever a thought arises we get mesmerized by its “story.” We may not think of ourselves as people who are easily fooled, but this is one area in which most of us are completely gullible, especially when the thought carries an emotional charge. When pleasant thoughts appear we get caught up in the fantasies, fueled by desire. When unpleasant memories arise we focus on how we were wronged, getting more and more upset. Whether the content of the thought is pleasant or unpleasant, we tend to assume it has substance instead of recognizing that it’s just an empty vibration arising and passing away.

It is often simple things that make a difference in our lives. The wheel is a good example of a simple thing that has made our lives easier. A simple thing that can make your dog walking life easier is a front-leading chest-attached dog harness like the Walk Your Dog With Love dog harness. It stops a dogs pulling and gives you more control.
Our goal with “Let`s start a conscious parenting movement” is to reach out a hand to those who are afraid and to those of the parents who are living an enlightened life with their children, and to those who needs support. The old ways of parenting are not working – they never have.
Jump up ^ The verb root “dhyai” is listed as referring to “contemplate, meditate on” and “dhyāna” is listed as referring to “meditation; religious contemplation” on page 134 of Macdonell, Arthur Anthony (1971) [Reprinted from 1929]. Keeping your mind on the rising and falling movements may not be as easy as you’d think. Be patient and don’t judge yourself, even if the mind wanders out often. Remember that you’re learning a new skill. When learning to play the piano, for example, you wouldn’t expect perfection right away. Likewise, you shouldn’t expect it in meditation. Don’t get discouraged if your progress seems slow. As long as you stick with the practice, results are sure to come.
If meditation seems very difficult or you lack self-discipline, try this strategy: decide you will meditate just one minute per day. Anyone can do that, right? You will find, however, that once you get “over the hump” of your initial resistance and actually sit down to do it, you might sometimes want to meditate longer. It’s that initial hurdle that’s the most difficult. But even if you don’t end up meditating longer, keep practicing one minute every day, without exception, and your attitude will gradually change.

Remember during this exploration of yourself that there are distinct differences between what you are competent at, what you have excellence in, and what you are brilliant at.At a deep level, all of our “flaws” are subjective and based on our own interpretations, perspectives, and focuses. We obsess about certain aspects of our body or appearance, our personality, our life or work circumstances and deem them as “bad” or “flawed.” But, the truth is they simply are as they are – we add the meaning and interpretation to them. This is not a meditation app as such. Instead, this app makes it easy to take time out of each day to note what you’re grateful for. You can personalize your journal to give it a distinct look and feel, and can even add photos or audio to your journal entries. Another feature is the ability to set reminders so you don’t forget to take time out of your day to be thankful. An attractive alternative for Android is Attitudes for Gratitude. No te sientas culpable.

Dice: «No me molestes. Y no me molestes».
