So, what is it to be Spiritual? In my understanding it is to be an explorer who challenges the boundaries set by the ego; the left brain. Being Spiritual is to slowly break down the resistance of the left brain and to become more free and less fearful. It is to constantly seek to stretch oneself beyond one’s own programmed limitations. And it is to be totally compassionate toward and supportive of others as they seek to do the same.

With mindfulness you do not judge or react to passing phenomena, but merely note them impartially, without attraction or repulsion. We should emphasize that mindfulness of the body, thoughts, feelings, sense-impressions, and so on does not mean thinking about those things, but merely knowing them with bare attention as soon as they arise (i.e., at the moment of contact), then letting them go. The technique of simply knowing and letting go of sensations without reacting to them eventually purifies the mind of all unwholesome traits.

Sus creencias son diferentes, pero observa su vida y no notarás diferencia alguna. El musulmán, el judío, el cristiano, el hindú, todos viven la misma vida. Su vida no es ni rozada por sus creencias. De hecho las creencias no pueden tocar la vida, las creencias son artilugios, las creencias son astutos artilugios mediante los cuales dices, «Sé lo que es la vida» y así puedes descansar en paz, dejas de estar presionado por la vida. Sostienes un concepto y ese concepto te ayuda a racionalizar. De este modo la vida no te afecta mucho porque posees todas las respuestas a todas las preguntas.

Y tú naces en una familia. Bueno, ¿quiénes son estas familias? ¿Quiere esto decir que tus hermanos y hermanas con los que compartes una encarnación vienen del mismo lugar en el Plano Sublime? No, porque el grupo genético a través del cual vinieron ofrecía oportunidades primitivas o avanzadas. Están en niveles diferentes, pero el cuerpo les sirve.¿Lo entiendes? Que así sea.

Había venido desde América para hacer una película de las técnicas de meditación, del Campus, de lo que digo, de lo que su­cede aquí. En el momento en que oyó que no pertenecía a tradi­ción alguna, simplemente desapareció. Así pues no pertenezco a la historia, es obvio.

¿Por qué sería una ventaja para ti aliarte con las conciencias primaria y secundaria en esta cuestión? Obviamente, porque esos son los yos que permanecen cuando el nacimiento y la muerte prosiguen como reencarnación cíclica; ellos permanecen. ¿Qué otra ventaja hay? Bueno, esta es la ventaja: si realmente crees lo que te dije hoy –quiero decir, realmente lo creíste—, al final de este día conocerás tu motivo ulterior. Y debido a que lo sabrás, lo cambiarás. ¿Y qué tipo de dinámica se va a desprender de ese cambio? ¿Cuál va a ser? Debe ser tan real para ti como lo es la negación de su realidad. Debe tener ese mismo empuje. Debe ser tan real como la negación es real, y si lo es, entonces piensa en las posibilidades de lo que estamos viendo aquí. Estás ciertamente en un momento de participación observable en el cual tú has estado aquí antes, y has regresado, y mucho de esto suena familiar. Y empieza a llegar a la superficie de tu mente.

Con «santo» no quiero decir que sea virtuoso; con «santo» quiero decir que es total. No queda nada sin implicarse, todo está implicado. Su riqueza es su totalidad; lo objetivo y lo subjetivo se han disuelto en él. Pero él no es la suma de lo objetivo más lo subjetivo; es algo más. Lo objetivo está en el exterior, lo subjetivo está en el interior y lo religioso está más allá. El más allá abarca ambos: interior y exterior y aún así es más allá.

Se ha tratado de hacer de múltiples formas. En los antiguos monasterios de todo el mundo, los cristianos, los budistas, los hindúes, en todos los monasterios, han probado con el mismo truco, pero a una escala mayor. La vida en un monasterio es una rutina, está absolutamente fijada. Por eso dijeron: guárdate todo el dinero. Me voy al bosque. Este jardín no es ya para mí. Voy hacia lo inmenso, lo desconocido, donde uno puede perderse. Este camino senci­llo, que todo el mundo conoce, tipografiado, no es para mí.

Es como si te hubieras despertado y todos los demás estu­vieran aún profundamente dormidos, soñando y teniendo pe­sadillas, gritando, saltando, llorando… Tú sabes que sólo son pesadillas, pero están tan borrachos y tan profundamente dor­midos que no puedes ayudarles. Una palabra lleva el significado de la persona. Una palabra en sí misma carece de significado. Pue­des consultar diccionarios, y llegar a conocer el significado de las palabras, pero éste no es un significado real, vivo, está muerto. Cuando una persona utiliza una palabra, le da un sig­nificado vivo, real. El significado viene de la persona.

En una clase de meditación, meditamos por espacios de 1, 5, 15 y 30 minutos, dependiendo de la herramienta que vayamos a utilizar ese día. Siempre buscando la continuidad para que en una o dos semanas podamos sentir estos beneficios de la meditación.

Muchas veces creemos que esto o aquello nos hará feliz y nos encaprichamos. Deje ir sus ambiciones humanas e invite la prosperidad de la mejor manera que pueda manifestarse en su vida. Si no está acostumbrado a trabajar con afirmaciones, dedique al menos 21 días seguidos a repetir sus afirmaciones elegidas.

At one of the classes that I attend, I remember my teacher speaking to my peers and I about how the lure of yoga has uncovered an odd pattern in newcomers to the practice, especially those coming from highly stressful environments:  people have an increasingly (and alarmingly) hard time sitting (or standing, for that matter) still.  Our North American work ethic has immersed us in a high speed, ever-elusive pursuit for success, one that inexorably leaves us vibrating with the reverberating echoes of the day’s battles.  As yoga has begun to be marketed as a sensible salve to our harrowing daily goings-on, people from business backgrounds have found themselves in the unfamiliar environs of a yoga class.  The constraining suits replaced by comfortable threads, the faxes and Blackberries replaced by spongy mats and supporting blocks, these people have found themselves destabilized by the lack of white noise, or more importantly, by the presence of undiluted silence.  The process of stripping away society’s conditioning has often proved to be too great a feat for some, resulting in the identification of yoga as “too freaky”, “too quiet”, or most laughably, “too easy”.  There now exists a movement of millions attempting to relate to life’s most basic principles, and in that same effort to relate comes the realization that we rarely end up where we originally envisioned ourselves…and so the quest begins…to come back to ourselves…and to our selves.

Responsibility is not a duty or a task that needs to be done. Responsibility is not a burden to bear or a sacrifice that we need to make. Responsibility is not something that should be feared or avoided. But millions of people around the world haven’t found the courage to stand strong and be responsible for their own lives.

The same stages of perception occur whenever you experience a sound, smell, taste or touch. Pure sound-waves are cognized first; in the next moment you recognize the sound. A fragrance is sensed before it is named. The same is true of touches, tastes, and mental phenomena. First, note your intention as “intending to move.” Next, start moving the body slowly, breaking the motion down into a series of separate actions. Stop completely after each movement. Bring each hand to your stomach one at a time. Tilt your torso forward as you prepare to stand. Uncross your legs. Lift one leg and then the other. Note the feeling of pressure against each foot as you place it on the floor, and then slowly stand up. 1) Notice your relationship to time, your schedule, and your commitments. How do you relate to time? How do you feel about your schedule? Do you feel victimized by your commitments at home, at work, and in general? The more honest you can be with yourself about how you feel about the things you have to do in life, the more able to are to alter it (if that’s something you would like to do). Excuses are negative low-level energies damaging to our abilities and ourselves. When these energies become locked into our consciousness we see them to as truth. This belief then alters our brain chemistry making our misconceptions about our capabilities a reality. (See Dr. Joe Dispenza’s: Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind.) When we hide behind our excuses we lie to others, but even more harmful is that we lie to ourselves and when we allow ourselves to believe that we are not capable, we deny our infinite Spirit.

By embracing your inner slut through educated sexing and what true orgasm is as well as what true turn on is, a woman can become for better terms, enlightened. When she allows her pussy to lead she will be more creative in life, she will discover her authentic yes and no, she will feel interconnected, vibrant, hormonally balanced, and dare do I say HAPPY.

Various postures are taken up in some meditation techniques. Sitting, supine, and standing postures are used. Popular in Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism are the full-lotus, half-lotus, Burmese, Seiza, and kneeling positions. Meditation is sometimes done while walking, known as kinhin, or while doing a simple task mindfully, known as samu.

In Buddhist philosophy, the ultimate benefit of meditation is liberation of the mind from attachment to things it cannot control, such as external circumstances or strong internal emotions. The liberated or “enlightened” practitioner no longer needlessly follows desires or clings to experiences, but instead maintains a calm mind and sense of inner harmony.

Clarity within and danger without. A new outlook for the progress of the world surfaces that would allow oil based equipment to continue for many years to come. In ultimate terms every phenomenon, such as a movement or a sound, arises, persists, and bursts like a bubble, all in the space of one moment. In the correct practice of insight meditation a student observes an object through all three of these phases.

Create a special space for where you meditate. I have a meditation altar, which I find helpful to be in front of while sitting on a meditation cushion. What you choose to put at your altar is completely up to you. You will want to pick symbols and objects that you find soothing and joyful. You can include special rocks, crystals, statues, signs with affirmations, candles (I use a battery-powered fake candle!) and pictures. Mine is on a small fireplace in my room, and eye level when I sit in front of it.

So how can we prioritize and be productive at the same time? By spending time on what matters to you the most and recognizing that it is ok to have some downtime in your life. You will miss great relationships because they can never really become great without you having a great relationship with yourself. If you cannot have a great relationship with yourself, you do not truly understand how to have a great relationship with others. Being your own best friend is the key to being a best friend to others. If you honour and favour yourself, you can do the same to other people. Compliment yourself just as you would complement those around you.

    Y puedo saber, al mirar a una mujer, si dentro de ese seno descansan el amor sincero y el afecto, porque el amor sincero y el afecto son la máxima personificación de Dios en la diosa, que es, en verdad, quien nutre a la vida y nunca quien le roba —y es la dadora del amor, nunca quien lo mutila— y en la mujer encontramos la flor más dulce de Dios. Y puedo mirar a una mujer y decirte si ese amor habita ahí o no. Y lo que hace a una mujer hermosa no es la piel, los ojos o la edad. Lo que hace a una mujer hermosa es su capacidad de amar sin rendirse y de amar sin condiciones. Ahora, eso es lo que yo considero una mujer hermosa. ¿Y por qué? Porque cuando separas de la carencia la asociación que la mantiene apuntalada —verás, la carencia se podría ver como una bola de cristal sostenida por aquello que se llama una tríada con patas, y lo que se ve realmente no es la bola de cristal, sino la tríada con patas que la sostiene— podríamos ver entonces la carencia como una bola de cristal transparente que en realidad no podemos ver. Pero lo que sí vemos son los puntales que la mantienen en su posición. Y si removemos esos puntales de asociación, no hay bola de cristal. Solo existía la asociación. La asociación —permíteme recordarte de nuevo— es decir que eres como eres a causa de algo que te pasó cuando eras un niño o una niña, y luego llevarlo contigo toda la vida, coloreando con eso cada día de tu vida, pues esa es la única manera de vivir que conoces; aquel suceso, aquel momento, aquella gente, y aquel lugar son los puntales de la carencia. La carencia ni siquiera existe, es incapaz de existir en un reino de absoluta abundancia.

    Este tipo de dolores pueden atormentar a las personas que se aferran demasiado a tener una vida predecible con todas las comodidades. El miedo patológico a los cambios, falta de disponibilidad de cambiar tu forma de vivir y la resistencia constante a lo nuevo pueden provocar el dolor en la cadera.

    Yo aconsejo que a tu hermana habría que liberarla del cuerpo, porque este cuerpo no es más que una cárcel para ella. Si la amas, tienes que decirle adiós. Pero hay que exigirle al go­bierno y crear un movimiento que ayude a otras personas, y no solo a tu hermana. Puede haber muchas más personas en la mis­ma situación. Monta todo el alboroto que puedas, solo así le per­mitirán a tu hermana tener una muerte pacífica. Y no te preocu­pes, porque su ser más profundo nunca muere.

    The ‘three R’s’ are something that most almost everyone could improve on and stand as general guidelines for most ways to save the environment. The first is reduce, you can reduce waste by only buying what you need and not buying in excess.     As the world’s been fighting “god inspired” wars pretty much since the creation of religion, we’re all aware of how easy it is for people to argue about their chosen faith. For me, spirituality means that ALL things are part of life as we know it. There can be no argument about whether there IS life, or whether all things are part of life because we’re all here, partaking of everything this life has to offer. So all people participate in Spirituality and agree with it by default! They don’t necessarily know or accept that they do because they don’t understand that the meaning of Spirituality is nothing more than life itself ~ as it really is!

    Despite such positive findings, it’s important to note that most of the evidence of vitamin D’s benefits compiled to date comes from what are called observational studies—studies that follow a free-living group of people over time. Such large, well-designed observational studies can provide very good data on the links between risk factors and diseases, but they aren’t usually the “gold standard” when looking at things like vitamin D and cancer. For this, randomized, controlled trials are usually considered the study of choice.

    This next tactic for taking inventory is a drastic and potentially dangerous step, which can sometimes call up guilt or pain for some of us compassionate types.     That’s why we don’t have to let go as a separate step. Letting go and re-establishing our attention in the present moment are the same. Letting go of the past happens by itself whenever we truly bring the mind back to the here and now. But re-establishing our attention in the present is something we have to keep doing, gently, with every single moment. The present is not static. There is always a new “present moment.”

    The (late 4th century BCE) Guanzi essay Neiye “Inward training” is the oldest received writing on the subject of qi cultivation and breath-control meditation techniques.[86] For instance, “When you enlarge your mind and let go of it, when you relax your vital breath and expand it, when your body is calm and unmoving: And you can maintain the One and discard the myriad disturbances. … This is called “revolving the vital breath”: Your thoughts and deeds seem heavenly.”[87]

    Meditation is the “radical act of love and sanity” that can help manage the fear and aversion he believes underpin so many of the world’s problems. The Grenfell Tower disaster that claimed around 80 lives was partly down to an absence of mindfulness – “deep and authentic listening” – by decision makers who clearly felt an aversion to the complaints of residents.
