I have not had an experience of waves of energy and the exuberant joy like you describe but the people thing must be they’re reading energy or are drawn to the energy we carry then. As an introvert myself, I can relate to feeling hounded.

Concerning Genpo’s approch. It reminds me of something funny I heard on the radio this morning. There was a dj talking about how all of a sudden he starts to find faults in the women he dates. What that said to me is quite simple. The mind creates illusions of fear lack etc, where as the heart comes from a place of purity and love. It knows exactly what to do, once the mind is out of the way.

Omega-6 and omega-3 fats derive their names from their chemical composition. It’s important to realize that your pet requires both omega-3 (alpha-linolenic) and omega-6 (linoleic) acids in order to thrive.

You can practice mindfulness meditation on your own anytime and anywhere. But listening to basic guided meditations can also be helpful, especially when getting started. Instructions from an experienced teacher can help remind us to come back to the present moment, let go of distracting thoughts and not be so hard on ourselves.

  • Give Up to Stride along: There are times when we want something we need to give up another. Usually this means giving up something that we were comfortable with. For example, we could keep climbing that mountain or we could say well…that’s good enough; I really didn’t need to be here. What am I trying to prove anyway…the little voice inside our head continues to want us to stay in that comfort zone. Once we commit and take that extra step and then another and another, then we begin to stride faster because it becomes easier and we learn how to it better and so on.
  • 1) Notice your relationship to self love. How do you feel about it, how comfortable are you with it, and what resistance do you have to loving yourself? Being honest about your own relationship to self love is the first step in altering it. Many of us have not been encouraged or taught to love ourselves. We have also not seen many healthy models of self love around us. And, we’re often much better at being hard on ourselves than we are at being kind and loving towards ourselves. Based on these and other factors, self love can be a bit tricky. Once we tell the truth about how we relate to self love, we can start to expand our ability to love ourselves in a more real way.

    •  Identify your top five or ten values in life. Write them down any way you like, as a single word (e.g., health, family, spirit) or phrase or sentence (e.g., building a safety net for retirement). See if you can put them in priority order, with no ties allowed (!). If you could achieve only one of your values, which would it be? Take that one off the list and ask the question again about the values that remain, and repeat the process. Then step back and consider the ways you are – and are not – living true to that list and the priorities on it.

    This exercise is similar to walking (and rising-falling) in that you watch the body’s physical movement. By focusing on a different part of the body, however, you give mindfulness a larger repertoire of objects, just as a weightlifter trains different muscles in rotation.

This type of meditation can be your preferred meditation practice each day and it is also highly useful during moments of tension in the workplace and at home.

    If an image occurs, try to focus on the primary meditation object again (such as the rising-falling motions), ignoring the image. Let the image remain in the “background,” but don’t pay attention to it. Eventually the image will fade away.

    You haven’t been barking up the wrong tree. Your mind is full of sensations; sight, sound, feel, sent, taste. You are taking that in. You are not engaging thoughts that take you away from what you are experiencing.

    Excuses kill people, they really do! I don’t know why we as human beings do this to ourselves. You may say excuses keep us from failing, they keep us in a comfort zone, and when we are comfortable we feel secure. Secure! How is living with stress, depression, an unhealthy body and complaining all the time, secure? People that don’t do what they love are also tired and sick all the time! I don’t know about you but I’d rather do what I love and enjoy doing it every single day than having to live a life of “security”.

    Qigong can be a great fit for you if you’re having trouble keeping your body calm and quiet during meditation. Often practice involves and engages your body and a lot of people find it to be a very effective in silencing the mind.

    He was referring to the Facebook news feed. Since facebook automatically gathers information from wall posts that friends make, he thought it was me sending messages to him! Since he is a computer ‘geek’ and he never knew what was happening, I could not help but wonder how many other people in my facebook family were of the same thinking… so I am here to offer a little help!

    Think what you want to achieve with your meditation. People come to meditation for a wide range of reasons — whether to improve their creativity, help visualize a goal, quiet their inner chatter, or make a spiritual connection. If your only goal is to spend a few minutes every day being present in your body without worrying about everything you have to do, that’s reason enough to meditate. Try not to over-complicate your reasons for meditating. At its core, meditation is just about relaxing and refusing to be caught up in everyday anxieties.

    The New Moon Eclipse of January 15th will also be uneventful as long as you mind your own business. On the Full Moon January 30 contradictory energies will arise. A smile will work wonders but aggression will be resisted.

    If boredom, tiredness, or other mental states arise, turn the beam of awareness onto them and note “boredom” or “tiredness.” Do not appropriate them as aspects of your self that somehow belong to you. Pull your awareness back from those objects and watch them to see what they’re like, to see that such conditions arise momentarily only to disappear.

    Alas, I was not discovered by Hollywood. I did the yo-yo thing for many a decade. And then mysteriously one day, nine years ago, something snapped, crackled, popped and I got “it.”

    During the spring equinox, I brought in new energy during a spiritual ceremony to aid me in 5th dimensional work. Shortly thereafter a strange phenomena happened my home. I was upstairs getting ready for the day, and called my 5 year old son to come up and get dressed. I heard his footsteps bound toward the stairs, abruptly stop, then continue up. He came to my room completely confused, asking, “Mom, were you just downstairs?” I replied no, I had been upstairs for quite a while. He told me he had just seen me downstairs, standing there, staring at him. Then I simply vanished. He mentioned that the only thing that was different were the clothes I was wearing. I later got dressed for the day, came downstairs and questioned him again on what he had seen. He started to respond but stopped, looking at my outfit. “Those were the clothes you were wearing, Mommy!” I knew he would say that. I took my son back to the exact place he saw me, and was pondering what happened. I then realized I was acting out exactly what he saw hours ago. Was it a time fold, wrinkle in time? Did I manage to be at two places at once? Or is it that my son can see into the future? The more I contemplate the scenarios, the more questions I have!

    En el futuro, la historia debería consistir solamente de grandes genios que hayan contribuido con algo a la belleza de este planeta, para la Humanidad; un Gautama Buda, un Sócrates, un Lao Tse. Grandes místicos como Jalaluddin Rumi, J. Krishnamurti. Grandes poetas como Walt Whitman, Omar Khayyam.  Grandes figuras literarias como Leo Tolstoi, Maxim Gorky, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Rabindranah Tagore, Basho.

    Hay también otro tipo de ayuda que no surge del deseo ni de ninguna proyección del ego. Esa ayuda, ese tipo de compasión solo sucede en la última cima de la meditación y nunca antes. Cuando la primavera llega a tu conciencia, cuando en tu interior solo hay flores, los demás empiezan a recibir la fragancia. No es necesario que lo desees; en realidad, no lo puedes evitar. Aunque intentes impedirlo no podrás hacer nada. Es inevitable que al­cance a los demás. Se convertirá en la luz de su vida y será el he­raldo de los nuevos comienzos. Y no porque tú lo desees, sino porque tú te has transformado.

    ¿Qué harías cuando estuvieras solo? Durante los tres o cuatro primeros días soñarías y hablarías internamente; un diálogo in­terno. Entonces se convertiría en algo aburrido. Después de la pri­mera semana comenzarías a hablar en voz alta porque al menos oirías el sonido de tu propia voz. Cuando caminas por una oscura calle, de noche, empiezas a silbar, ¿por qué? ¿Cómo te  va a dar coraje el silbar? Con tan sólo oírlo sientes que no estás sólo; alguien está silbando. ¡Se crea la ilusión de ser dos!

    Entonces, ¿qué pasa en el Plano Sublime? Bueno, después de esa agotadora revisión de la luz te vas y puedes comer durante dos o tres mil años todo lo que quieras de cualquier cosa—ya sabes: mucho vino, queso de cabra, aceitunas, carnes curadas, pavos, tú sabes, todo ese tipo de cosas—, y entonces este hermoso reino en el que te toca vivir se llama el Plano Sublime. Es el hermoso y exquisito plano dorado llamado paraíso. Y allí vas a la escuela. Y en la escuela estás estudiando esencialmente los verdaderos orígenes de tu dificultad, y los estudias del modo que la revisión de la luz te enseñó. Estás verdaderamente estudiando los amigos que tuviste, a los que les perpetraste esto, y ellos te lo perpetraron a ti —los amantes que tuviste, los hijos que tuviste, la familia que tuviste— y de eso se trata tu escuela. Pero nunca puedes pasar a una escuela más elevada o a una mayor sala de aprendizaje allí a menos que sepas hacer la pregunta adecuada.

    Recuerda: la iluminación no es un juego. Todo lo demás es un juego, pero la iluminación no. No es un juego; debes tener paciencia. Recuerda, cuanto más apurado estés, menos posibilidades tendrás de lograrla. Cuanto más paciente seas, más posibili­dades tendrás.

Con todo, pueden aparecer y luego desaparecer de nuestra vida, pero para eso estamos aquí.

    Cuando entiendes que tú eres el responsable empiezas a flore­cer. La ley es una excusa. Es una astucia de la mente para que puedas seguir protegiéndote y defendiéndote. El amor es vulne­rable, pero la ley es una medida defensiva. Cuando amas a al­guien no hablas de leyes. Cuando amas, la ley desaparece, porque el amor es la ley suprema. No precisa otras leyes, se basta consi­go mismo. Y cuando el amor te protege no necesitas otra protec­ción. No seas legalista, de lo contrarío te perderás todo lo bello de la vida. No seas un abogado, sé un amante, de lo contrario te se­guirás protegiendo y al final te darás cuenta de que no hay nada que proteger; solo has estado protegiendo un ego vacío. Y siem­pre puedes encontrar medios y formas de proteger el ego vacío.

La meditación puede empezar a mejorar tu salud física, tu bienestar emocional, y tu conexión espiritual desde tu primera experiencia. Pero también abrirá un mundo de auto- consciencia y consciencia superior que te conectará a aspectos más universales y divinos de ti mismo.

    El amor existe cuando tú estás vacío. El conocimiento existe cuando estás lleno. El conocimiento pertenece al ego, y el ego nunca puede penetrar en el centro; es la periferia. La periferia sólo puede conocer la periferia. No puede conocer algo que pertenece al centro mediante el ego. El ego puede es­tudiar, el ego puede hacerte un gran erudito, acaso un erudito religioso, un gran pandit. Puedes saber todos los Vedas, todos las Upanishads, todas las Biblias y los Coranes, y sigues sin saber nada -porque no es conocimiento de afuera, es algo que sucede cuando has entrado y te has convertido en uno.

    Hay gente que ha adquirido tal grado de certeza en todo, que nunca se sorprenden. Hay gente a la que nunca podrás sorprender. Y yo estoy aquí para entregarte un mensaje que es muy sorprendente; no lo vas a creer. Lo sé. No vas a poder creértelo, lo sé. Estoy aquí para decirte algo que es absolutamente increíble: que vosotros sois dioses y diosas. Lo habéis olvidado.

    Cada día son más las personas que se lanzan al mundo de la meditación. Más allá de ser considerada a veces una moda, la realidad es que la meditación es parte de este mundo desde siglos y siglos atrás. Cuando meditamos, lo que estamos buscando es desarrollar nuestra mente y liberarnos de todo tipo de tensiones que nos molesten y que no nos dejen realmente desarrollarnos al máximo como personas.

    Si quisieras que tu niño fuera un Gautama Buda, entonces tendrías que ver, de acuerdo con los análisis genéticos, qué esperma posee la potencialidad de ser un místico.  El esperma sería inyectado; de esa manera no tendrían que entrar en competencia con toda suerte de individuos de la masa.

    Las rosas florecen con tanta belleza porque no están inten­tando convertirse en flores de loto. Y las flores de loto florecen con tanta belleza porque no han estado oyendo leyendas sobre otras flores. En la naturaleza todo va maravillosamente bien por su propia cuenta, porque nadie intenta competir con nadie, nadie intenta convertirse en otro. Todo es como es.

    3: Nos preguntaremos cuál es la mejor manera en que podemos servir a la humanidad. Al Respondernos esa pregunta, luego pondremos la respuesta en práctica.     He oído contar algo sobre un actor que murió. Su funeral atrajo a mucha, mucha gente, muchos miles. Su mujer estaba golpeándose el pecho y llorando y gritando. Pero si has vivido un poco por encima de tu cuerpo. Si has gustado de la música y de la poesía, si has amado y si has contemplado las flores y las estrellas y algo de lo perteneciente a lo que no es físico ha penetrado en tu conciencia, entonces la muerte no será tan mala, entonces la muerte no será tan dolorosa. Podrás llevarla con ecuanimidad, pero aún no será una celebración.

    ¿Has visto reírse a un loco? Su risa es totalmente diferente de tu risa. La tuya es razonada, hay una razón para ella. Alguien ha contado un chiste, alguien se ha caído por la calle, resbalado con una piel de plátano, y te ríes. Hay una razón, ha sucedido algo ridículo. ¿Por qué te ríes cuando un hombre se cae en la ca­lle, al resbalar con una piel de plátano? ¿Por qué? ¿Qué tiene de gracioso? Hay algo: el ego es la cosa más ridícula del hombre, y cuando un hombre se cae por una piel de plátano, hasta la piel de plátano es más fuerte que tú. El absurdo total del ego queda demostrado, el hombre no es nada: hasta una piel de plátano te puede hacer perder el equilibrio.

    Estas situaciones se repetían continuamente. La gente solo estaba interesada en llevar a Jesús a una disputa en la que pudie­ra salir ganadora la mente jurídica. No puedes discutir con una mente jurídica, si lo haces te derrotará, porque la mente jurídica es muy eficiente en la discusión. Adoptes la posición que adoptes —eso no importa— serás derrotado.

    Idealmente, come algo ligero en la tarde, antes de las 7:30 de ser posible, y después sal a caminar. Los poderes digestivos del cuerpo son más fuertes en las horas reguladas por el dosha Pitta (10 p.m. a 2 a.m. y 10 a.m. a 2 p.m.). Cuando tu cena es ligera, en lugar de concentrar toda esa energía en digerir una cena pesada, tu cuerpo puede usar el ciclo de Pitta para desintoxicar al cuerpo y darle el descanso profundo que necesita.  Puedes dar una caminata después de la cena y estar en cama alrededor de las 10 p.m. También es muy útil descargar tus pensamientos del día en un diario antes de ir a la cama para que tu mente no te mantenga despierto.

Estás asustado, tu amor por Dios se basa en el miedo del diablo. El mal es la medida de tu bondad. Dios necesita al diablo.

    Nos asustamos de ser devorados, ¿por qué? Es algo que hay que comprender. ¿Por qué nos asustamos tanto de ser devorados? Durante toda nuestra vida estamos comiendo. Y destruimos vida con nuestro comer. Comas lo que comas, matas. Tienes que matar, porque la vida sólo puede comer vida. No hay otra forma. Nadie puede ser pues llamado vegetariano, nadie. Todo el mundo es no vegetariano, porque lo que comes es vida. Comes fruta, es vida; comes verduras, las verduras tienen vida; comes trigo, arroz, que son semillas para que germine más vida. Todo de lo que dependes tiene vida.

    ¿Sabes una cosa? Solamente una entidad que regresa aquí lo sabe: «La única razón por la que regreso es porque tengo que terminar mis asuntos. Pero mi sueño inimaginable es convertirme en un superser.» ¿Existe un sueño más fabuloso que ser Dios? No, no lo hay.

    La vida no te está esperando en ninguna parte; te está sucediendo. No se encuentra en el futuro como una meta que has de alcanzar, está aquí y ahora, en este mismo momento, en tu respirar, en la circulación de tu sangre, en el latir de tu  corazón. Cualquier cosa que seas, es tu vida y si te pones a buscar significados en otra parte, te la perderás. El hombre ha estado haciendo esto durante siglos.

    Es mi función aquí ayudarte a deshacerte de la motivación. Llegas con un propósito, ese es tu trabajo; sin él no habrías venido. Entonces comienza mi trabajo: ayudarte a deshacerte de tu motivación. La motivación te acerca a mí; pero entonces la motivación en sí se convierte en el obstáculo. Has venido a mí con un motivo y luego has de aprender a abandonarlo, y cuando desaparece, de repente no sólo estás cerca de mí, sino que eres uno conmigo porque la cercanía supone aún una distancia. Por muy cerca que estés, estás lejos. La verdadera proximidad se da solamente cuando toda distancia y toda cercanía desaparecen; simplemente eres uno conmigo, yo soy uno contigo; cuando solamente parecemos ser dos, pero no lo somos.

    Así que la clave es ésta: separarse en tan­to yo es el fundamento de toda desdi­cha. Ser uno, quedarse flotando junto a lo que la vida nos depare, permanecer en eso tan in­tensamente, de manera tan absoluta que ya no existas: te pierdes, y entonces todo es dicha. Hay allí una elección, pero hasta has perdido conciencia de esta elección. Has estado eli­giendo mal tan permanentemente, se ha trans­formado hasta tal punto en un hábito muerto, que simplemente lo eliges en forma automáti­ca. No queda lugar para la elección.

Take that one off the list and ask the question again about the values that remain, and repeat the process.
