El zen no tiene un sistema de valores. El zen solo aporta una cosa al mundo y es entendimiento, conciencia. A través de la con­ciencia llega la inocencia. La inocencia es inocente con respecto a lo bueno y a lo malo. La inocencia simplemente es inocencia, no sabe de distinciones.

Esto es lo que les sucede a los políticos, a la gente obsesiona­da con la riqueza, el prestigio, el poder. Sus egos alcanzan tal ta­maño que sus botes no pueden contenerlos. A cada momento es­tán a punto de ahogarse, en el límite, asustados, muertos de mie­do. Y cuanto más asustado esté uno más posesivo se vuelve, porque cree que a través de los bienes se alcanza algún tipo de segu­ridad. Cuanto más asustado estés, más creerás que si tu imperio fuese un poco mayor estarás más seguro.

Empieza a morir a cada instante al pasado. Límpiate del pasado a cada instante. Muere a lo conocido para que así seas asequible a lo desconocido. Al morir y al renacer a cada instante serás capaz de vivir la vida y también serás capaz de vivir la muerte.

No te opongas, porque esto es alimentarlas de nuevo. Si te acuerdas de los amigos, tienes que acordarte aún más de los enemigos. A los amigos los puedes olvidar, pero ¿cómo puedes olvidar a los enemigos? Tienes que recordarlos constantemente porque estás asustado.

YAMA: EL COMPORTAMIENTO ILUMINADO (COMPORTAMIENTO) Los yamas son un código universal de mandamiento o imposiciones morales (esencialmente abstenciones) que describen el comportamiento evolutivo o cómo los seres iluminados deben vivir sus vidas. En sánscrito yama significa muerte. Esencialmente, los yamas son la manera de ocasionar la muerte compasiva de nuestro ego. En los Upanishads, se refieren a estos como las “restricciones.” Hay cinco yamas: ahimsa: no violencia; satya: la verdad en la palabra y pensamiento; asteya: no robar; brahmacharya: selección consciente con repecto al comportamiento sexual (tradicionalmente el brahmacharya se asocia con el celibato o “no tendrás sexo”; aunque yo prefiero verlo como “pongamos atención a las relaciones que elegimos”); y aparigraha: ausencia de avaricia.

Y Kierkegaard sigue diciendo, “Conversé con El durante mu­chos años, y repentinamente me di cuenta de que era una tontería. Por eso dejé de hablarle, me volví silencioso. Si no estás dispuesto a vivir sin esperanza, no puedes vol­verte religioso. Aun tus llamadas religiones no son sino espe­ranzas creadas por la mente. ¿Estás dispuesto a vivir sin espe­ranza? ¿Estás dispuesto a vivir sin futuro? En este caso simplemente no es necesario que te retires; la mente se retira por sí misma. Entonces no te agarras a ella. Pero tienes mie­do, la mente puede ofenderse. Y la mente es el diablo y puede no volver a ofrecer, ¿qué harás entonces?

«iRetírate!». Si está oscuro afuera, se puede hacer algo, se te puede ayudar. Si tu cuerpo está enfermo, puedes encontrar un doctor; pero si tu alma está enferma, ningún doctor puede servir de nada, en este caso tienes que hacer algo tú. Entonces el maestro sólo puede llevarte hasta el punto en que tienes que hacer algo, porque dentro nadie puede penetrar, excepto tú. Porque en el templo más íntimo de tu ser, ¿cómo puede pene­trar alguien? No hay espacio allí, sólo tú existes en tu soledad total. Por eso Mahavira dijo que ni siquiera el amor puede en­trar allí. Estás totalmente solo. Mahavira utilizó una palabra para la liberación total, para la salvación definitiva; esta pala­bra es kaivalya que significa soledad absoluta. En tu ser más íntimo estás totalmente solo, nadie puede entrar allí. Ni siquie­ra un maestro. Si alguien puede entrar, entonces es el exterior, no es el núcleo más íntimo. En el centro de un círculo sólo pue­de haber un punto, no dos. Si hay dos, todavía no es el centro. Entonces todavía hay alrededor una pequeña periferia.

La segunda píldora es una revolución más grande, porque se puede tomar después de hacer el amor.  La primera tiene que tomarse cada día; la segunda es un adelanto mayor, porque ahora no tienes que preocuparte: puedes hacer el amor con cualquiera, en cualquier momento que la posibilidad surja y después tomar la píldora.

Y aquellos de vosotros que no oís muy bien, continuaréis protegiendo vuestra pequeña y sucia conciencia, y vuestro pequeño y sucio modo de pensar. Y seréis los poseedores de vuestro pasado, porque os da una razón para quejaros y algo por lo que trabajar, pues vosotros no creéis en mí, sino en vuestra carencia.

Por eso, en el instante en que veo que estás asintiendo, en el momento en que veo que dices, «Sí, esto es así», en el instante en que veo que estás acumulando algo, inmediatamen­te me lanzó sobre ello y lo contradigo para confundirte. La confusión es mi método. Lo voy a estar haciendo en todo momento. No te voy a dejar descansar a menos que abandones todo esfuerzo por filosofar, a menos que empieces a escucharme sin mente, por puro placer de escucharme tal y como escuchas música. Cuando me empieces a escuchar así entonces nunca te sentirás confundido. Te sientes confundido porque tratas de aferrarte a algo, y al paso siguiente yo lo destruyo. Te sientes confundido. Estabas construyéndote una casa y una y otra vez voy yo y te la destruyo.

No, tu choza no te hace pobre. El momento en que deseas el palacio te vuelves un pobre. Y no eres pobre porque los demás vi­van en palacios, eres pobre debido a que el deseo de vivir en un palacio crea una comparación con la choza. Te vuelves envidioso. Eres pobre.

Verás, la fragmentación de Dios en forma de carga está únicamente encerrada en el pasado. Y ya hemos considerado esto, víctimas de tus experiencias del pasado. En mi audiencia hay una carga crónica: que tus padres abusaron de ti, o que te ignoraron abandonaron. Pasas por la vida con esa actitud repugnante de carencia y los señalas con el dedo, a él o a ella—éstos son ejemplos— o a un amigo, o a alguien que abusó de ti, o a alguien que arruinó tus planes. Vas por la vida señalando con el dedo acusador: «Es culpa de ellos que yo sea así.» Y eso es fragmentar el Yo, porque en vez de asumir la responsabilidad de haber creado esto —de eso se trata Dios; Dios es el creador y yo te digo que eso es lo que tú eres— en vez de asumir la responsabilidad, lo cual definirá al Yo, lo fragmentas al señalar con el dedo y decir: «Me hicieron esto y yo era inocente». Nadie es inocente. Cuando actúas así y creas tiranos en tu vida, has tomado una parte del templo y la has colocado allí, y su realidad y su dinámica producirán ese resultado en tu vida.

Yo te amo. Tu gran árbol brotó, pero de unas pocas y nobles almas. ¿No sabes que eres su fruto? El cielo está clareando, y los fogones están encendidos. Ha sido una noche maravillosa por todos los tiempos.

Por eso el maestro dice: «Vale, estás muerto, pero ¿qué hay del sonido ese?». Mirando hacia arriba, Mamiya contes­tó: «¡Oh!, esto no lo he resuelto todavía». «¿Qué?, -rugió el maestro-. Los muertos no hablan. ¡Fuera!»

La gente no se destruye por odio, la gente se destruye por lo que llaman amor. No pueden analizarlo porque lo llaman amor. Como lo llaman amor, creen que debe de ser bueno, pero no es así. La humanidad sufre por esa enfermedad que llaman amor. Si lo analizas en profundidad no encontrarás más que pura lujuria. La lujuria no es amor. La lujuria quiere poseer, pero el amor quiere dar. La lujuria insiste en «consigue todo lo que puedas dando lo menos posible. Da menos y consigue más. Si tienes que dar, hazlo para que piquen».

Imitación significa que el ideal viene de fuera, no es tu de­seo. No es algo que sucede en tu interior, no es tu naturaleza floreciendo en ello. Algún otro te ha dado el ideal y tú lo si­gues. Si no lo consigues, te sentirás desgraciado porque no has logrado el ideal. Si lo consigues, te sentirás desgraciado porque nunca ha sido tu ideal. Nunca lo has querido, porque nunca sucedió en tu ser interior.

No, no es la manera. Y no seas tonto, no sigas a ciegas, y no hagas de nada un ritual. Se necesita comprensión, no ritual. Es bueno sentarte en la postura de un buda, pero recuerda bien que no eres Buda y que para ti no va a funcionar el mismo punto de inflexión, sino algo diferente. Y si vas siguiendo a Buda, absolutamente ciego, en este caso puede escapársete tu punto de inflexión; éste es el problema, porque no va a suce­der con este ritual repetitivo, tienes que buscar el tuyo propio.

Si de verdad me comprendes, serás incapaz de recordar lo que he dicho. Cogerás el pez, pero tirarás la red. Serás lo que he dicho pero no recordarás lo que he dicho. Te transformarás con ello pe­ro no te convertirás en más erudito. Te vaciarás aun más con ello, estarás menos lleno; te alejarás de mí refrescado, aliviado;

How can we make this process more conscious and deliberate, and not simply happen by accident. It’s important that we shift our focus, as Jung reminds us, from “solving” to “growing.” As we try to “solve” the biggest problems in our lives – related to relationships, career, health, effectiveness, money, awareness, and more – maybe we can stop trying so hard to “fix” these things and look more deeply at the feedback we’re getting and where we can enhance our growth.

Often referred to as the “sunshine vitamin” because direct exposure to ultraviolet B (UVB) sunlight causes the vitamin to naturally form in the skin, vitamin D’s cancer prevention pedigree actually began well before it was a direct subject of research. Key studies in the 1930s and 1940s found clear links between rates of skin cancer or level of sun exposure and rates of non-skin cancers. As skin cancer rates or sun exposure went up, rates of non-skin cancer went down. These findings caused considerable confusion among researchers, to say the least. That sunlight or skin cancer could ward off non-skin cancers seemed a strange idea; and, however important these studies were to become, they stayed largely curiosities until the early 1980s, when researchers started building the hypothesis that vitamin D and sunlight could be the main factor helping drive down cancer rates in areas with higher sun exposure.

Al cambiar de dieta para crearse salud, no sólo perdió peso, sino que finalmente llegó al punto en que el alimento que deseaba era también el que la hacía sentirse mejor. Ahora está sintonizada con la sabiduría de su cuerpo, y su anterior guerra contra sí misma ha finalizado. Mejorar la nutrición y hacer ejercicio regularmente son formas poderosas de crear salud. Una dieta rica en ácidos grasos «trans» (véase p. 764) e hidratos de carbono refinados, y pobre en fibra, es parte del motivo de que estén aumentando el cáncer de mama, la endometriosis y los miofibromas uterinos, que afectan a millones de mujeres. Como si fuera poco con los acontecimientos que se han estado dando en estos últimos 3 días, salen de nuevo a la luz esos supuestos testigos de los acontecimientos que de nuevo han causado rechazo internacional y en los que están envueltos los “peligrosos islamistas” del ISIS, la misma agrupación creada y financiada por la élite… y todavía hay gente comiendo de esos cuentos chinos.En fin, quería hacer mención a algunos de esos tales testigos, que han descrito cómo han ocurrido los hechos y que curiosamente han sido testigos de otros ataques “terroristas”… digo… no sé estadísticamente qué tan probable es que vos seas testigo de diversos ataques terroristas que se han dado en diversos países, talvez más fácil te ganás el balotto, te ganás la lotería a que esto te llegue a ocurrir hasta en 3 ocasiones.Uno de esos casos sospechosos es el de Julie Monaco, quien ha sido testigo viviente de 3 de esos ataques terroristas que se han dado en Europa, y lo más llamativo es que siendo australiana se fué para Europa buscando “mejores perspectivas y horizontes” y es así como ha visto en primera persona el ataque de Barcelona donde murieron las 13 personas, y dice que vió esto porque precisa y casualmente se encontraba de compras en el centro comercial de al lado donde llegó a estrellarse la furgoneta.

15 Sin embargo, cuando es verdaderamente necesaria la tecnología para el parto, es realmente milagrosa y salva vidas. Cuando el médico está en el quirófano haciendo una transfusión de sangre a una mujer cuya placenta simplemente no se desprende del útero y que pierde sangre con mucha rapidez, sabe que hace cien años esa mujer habría muerto. Por lo general, sin embargo, un mayor contacto táctil y un menor uso de la «alta tecnología» daría mejores resultados. Cuidados maternales para la madre: Una solución cuya hora ha llegado El apoyo durante el proceso del parto tiene siglos de antigüedad, y es intuitivamente evidente que las mujeres que se sienten más apoyadas durante el proceso del parto tienden a hacerlo mejor. Los doctores Marshall Klaus y John Kennell han demostrado en seis estudios clínicos controlados que la presencia de una mujer que apoye durante el proceso del parto, llamada doula, acorta la duración de la primera fase un promedio de dos horas, disminuye en un 50 por ciento las posibilidades de cesárea, reduce la necesidad de analgésicos y anestesia epidural, ayuda al padre a participar con confianza y aumenta el éxito de la lactancia. El doctor Kennell ha demostrado que si se utilizara rutinariamente la asistencia de la doula, este simple paso ahorraría al sistema sanitario un mínimo de millones de dólares al año en costes de cesáreas innecesarias, anestesias epidurales y tratamientos de septicemia para los recién nacidos. También añade con humor: «Si un fármaco tuviera este mismo efecto, no sería ético no usarlo». Con demasiada frecuencia, cuando pensamos en el apoyo durante el proceso del parto, nos imaginamos a una especie de «instructor», una persona especializada en las técnicas correctas de respiración, etc. Pero una doula encarna la sabiduría femenina. Es una mujer compasiva formada especialmente para ofrecer apoyo emocional, sintonizando con las necesidades de la madre y siendo una «madre» para ella. Las doulas generan un «ambiente emocional de apoyo para la madre, animándola a dejar que su cuerpo le diga lo que es mejor en los diversos momentos del proceso del parto. […] Una doula escriben los autores de Mothering the Mother da de sí misma y no tiene miedo de amar». 34 Una doula entra en el espacio de la parturienta y es muy sensible a sus necesidades, estados de ánimo, cambios y sentimientos no expresados. Then imagine a place back where was and it pulling back there and relax until it’s back. Call them points A and B, all you imagine is A and B and relax. Your body does all the inbetween. Do this for hours. developing it – its intuitive movement you should not be controlling it. It should feel like its moving itself. Evntually it will ust get into a cycle a rythm A ….. B ….. A ….. B…. just observe and dont care and keep the whole process flowing From my own experience, every time I resent, or complain about the way another person is BEing,  it is like taking out the trash, but first attaching a bungee cord to it… so before I can even turn around, I find myself covered by a huge bag of hurling garbage that ricocheted back at me.  And most of times, it is with the very same words that I tossed out to begin with. Reflective meditation is used for in-depth structured thinking. This form of meditation may be difficult because it requires a considerable amount of discipline. A common challenge of meditation is to control or prevent thoughts from percolating. Similarly, in reflective meditation, individuals must control their thoughts with a high level of control. What separates reflective meditation from other forms is that there is no thought suppression. 

One occasional criticism of the film has been that the character development is at times weak and/or inconsistent, that Burt and Verona are little more than undefined tour guides for carrying the story. Unfortunately, we think these stories, these lies, that we have been taught are true. We believe that we somehow need to change who we are, how we look, and what we do in order to finally be sexy, attractive, and drop-dead gorgeous.

For the “formal practice” time, sit on a cushion on the floor, or on a chair, with straight and unsupported back. Pay close attention to the movement of your breath. When you breath in, be aware that you are breathing in, and how it feels. When you breath out, be aware you are breathing out. Do like this for the length of your meditation practice, constantly redirecting the attention to the breath. Or you can move on to be paying attention to the sensations, thoughts and feelings that arise.

Time to go positive! Regular readers of my column know that I believe we receive what we give. That is the definition of Seva. Seva means selfless service. We are seeing this from charitable organizations and humans who care about others. To be altruistic is to give without the slightest expectation of getting something in return. God is seen in being there for each other.

Don’t get upset or judge yourself when the mind wanders away. Keep gently bringing it back to the main meditation object. Be patient with yourself and understand that it’s the nature of the mind to think, so training it to stay in the present moment and just know takes time.

As for me? I’m going to go whole hog and stick with good old fashioned hand-washing, followed with a nice splash of thieves oil. My kids may start to smell like Christmas, but at least we’ll be keeping the bubonic plague at bay.
