What about the florist, who really is an outstanding florist, who posts a picture of themselves with their dog on LinkedIn? How does that support the brand? Have they trained their dog to create flower arrangements?

Once you see the direct connection between what you do inside and what you feel, how you behave, and what you attract or are attracted to, and also see that you have been doing all of this AUTOMATICALLY, without conscious intention, you are in a position to run this internal creative process consciously and intentionally. Once you can do that, you can create, attract, or do ANYTHING.

Our right brain appears to be the centre of our Spiritual drive. It is where the core of our spirituality seems to sit. It constantly dreams of breaking free and pursuing a life of purpose, freedom and genuine service to others. It appears to be motivated by love all of the things a spirit is. It is constantly there, urging us forward, creating opportunities for us to learn to fly by jumping into what seems to be a void. It appears to not be able to see definition or limitation.

We state no, it is not for your highest good to have this individual rent a room at this time.  We suggest you follow through with the court.  The court will enforce child support is correct.  We also suggest that you let the new individual in your life know that you want to continue to know him; but to have him live in the house is not possible at this time due to court proceedings.  After court is completed in your favor, we suggest you consult with the lawyer about the new individual moving in and paying rent (to see how it affects child support). Then clarity will be presented for all concerned and you will feel that choice about living with your new individual is not needed from necessity but from love (higher place).  That is the correct way.

It has been said (can’t recall who) that the two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why. The reason anyone is happy, peaceful and successful is because they have found their purpose in life. It’s not because they are making heaps of money, have a fantastic wife and are best friends with every well publicised self-help guru on the planet – it’s because they have found what they are here for and are pursuing it with all the passion that such insight bestows.

Apart from its historical usage, the term meditation was introduced as a translation for Eastern spiritual practices, referred to as dhyāna in Buddhism and in Hinduism, which comes from the Sanskrit root dhyai, meaning to contemplate or meditate.[7][8] The term “meditation” in English may also refer to practices from Islamic Sufism,[9] or other traditions such as Jewish Kabbalah and Christian Hesychasm.[10] An edited book about “meditation” published in 2003, for example, included chapter contributions by authors describing Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions.[11][12] Scholars have noted that “the term ‘meditation’ as it has entered contemporary usage” is parallel to the term “contemplation” in Christianity,[13] but in many cases, practices similar to modern forms of meditation were simply called “prayer”. Christian, Judaic, and Islamic forms of meditation are typically devotional, scriptural or thematic, while Asian forms of meditation are often more purely technical.[14]

“When I’m anxious or stressed, I will often focus on centering my breathing. I say ‘Dare to be’ on the inhalation and ‘Present’ on the exhalation. Mindfulness practice is about focusing attention and cultivating a non-reactive awareness of your thoughts. For me, this phrase acknowledges that being fully present in the moment is a dynamic, rather than passive, activity. It helps me to practice letting go of habitual self-doubt and worries that often accompany feelings anxiety and stress.” —Christy Matta, M.A., mindfulness trainer and author of The Stress Response

Far too many small business owners are not thinking like CEO’s. This is really what costs because instead of leading they are ‘doing’. Working IN not ON their businesses. Check out a prior article regarding this at http://www.darcellerunciman.com/blog . They are micro managing looking at controling and dealing with every issue. At times it’s a trust issue, and sometimes they just do not know how to delegate the work to someone else. Stop thinking and working like an employee and start to plan and reflect on your business. Begin to trust that others can help you achieve success for your business, learn systems that can help you operationalize your business so that you have more time for yourself.

The two ways of focusing might be compared to looking at a windmill in two different ways. We might look at a windmill in order to discover the direction of the wind, or we might study the windmill’s structure because we’re going to repair it. In the first case we only pay attention to the motion of the windmill-blades—their speed and direction. We don’t notice details about their shape, structure and color. Who cares? The physical details of the blades tell us nothing whatsoever about the wind, so there’s no reason to focus on them. All we care about is the path they make through space as they move.

When beginning, you shouldn’t be too concerned with the quality of the meditation itself. As long as you feel calmer, happier, and more at peace at the end of your practice, your meditation was successful.[8]

In talking to Lisa about her book and the Triangle of Truth model that she teaches, I realized that my own fear of upsetting people or having them not like me, as well as my erroneous attachment to being “right” not only create more stress and separation in my relationships, they get in my way of engaging in healthy conflict, which thus robs me and those around me from coming up with higher level, more creative and inclusive solutions – which ultimately benefit all of us.

When depression hits, can meditating help you work through it? Maybe, but not always. Psychologists weigh in on when mindfulness therapies can (and can’t) help to ease depression. Have a glimpse at Mindful’s featured story in the February issue.

Label the image with a mental note. (You can use the word “image” or “seeing,” although it should be understood that knowing a mental image is not the same as genuine seeing.) Continue to note the image from moment-to-moment until it disappears. The image will often disappear after several notings.

Enter into a meditative state by relaxing and taking some deep breaths and then bring the image into your awareness. Associate yourself into the picture by stepping inside it and feeling as if it has already happened.

I know you can do this, because I did it, and if I could do it, anyone can. I was a miserable failure in pretty much every way, and somehow I pulled myself out of it. And, by the way, Holosync was a huge part of it, because it helped me on the inside, just as you’ve said it’s been doing for you. Ultimately, you have to 1) focus on what you want, 2) act, and 3) provide value for others (value that you charge for, though helping others, as you are doing, without asking for anything in return, is also good karma–though you may already be doing enough of that).

A meta-analysis of the effects of mindfulness meditation on people with insomnia also showed some benefits (Gong et al., 2016). For example, mindfulness meditation significantly reduced the amount of time participants spent awake as well as how long it took them to fall asleep, as well as increasing the quality of their sleep.

Now what if you waited 90 seconds after that emotional button was pushed? What if instead of counting to ten, you counted to 90 and waited out the chemical response in the body of that trigger? And then took a breath…
